Priscilla Presley has refuted reports suggesting that Sarah Ferguson is residing with her. A spokesperson for the 80-year-old widow of Elvis Presley told People that such speculation is “totally false.” The clarification comes amid reports that the former Duchess of York has been staying with friends following the eviction of her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, from Royal Lodge on the Windsor Home Park estate in February.

The reports also claimed that Ferguson, who was stripped of her royal titles and honours by King Charles in November, had been spending time with Priscilla at her Century City penthouse in Los Angeles. Page Six suggested that the mother of Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie has faced difficulty finding a stable residence in the United States, with her daughters unable to offer respite in their homes. The publication further alleged that Ferguson’s reputation has become “radioactive,” causing some friends to distance themselves.
Ferguson and Presley’s connection is reportedly rooted in the friendship the former duchess had with Presley and Elvis’ late daughter, Lisa Marie Presley. After Lisa Marie’s death in 2023, Ferguson paid tribute on social media, calling her “sissy” and expressing long-standing support for her family.

Ferguson has also recently faced a further setback after being stripped of the Freedom of York honour, which had been conferred in 1987. During a council debate on 26 March, Liberal Democrat councillor Darryl Smalley cited Ferguson’s close friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, noting it persisted beyond his conviction, and stated that recipients of York’s highest honour are expected to uphold certain standards of conduct.
