PinkPantheress has become the first woman and the youngest artist to receive the Brit Awards producer of the year accolade. The 24-year-old, whose real name is Victoria Walker, was recognised for her work during 2025, a year that included the release of her mixtape Fancy That and remix album Fancy Some More?, as well as two Grammy nominations.

The artist said the award acknowledged her focus on music production and expressed hope that the recognition would encourage others to pursue their creative ambitions. Fancy That featured tracks such as Illegal and Stateside, while PinkPantheress previously achieved a UK number two single with Boy’s A Liar in 2022, consolidating her position in the British pop scene.
Stacey Tang, chair of the Brit Awards committee and co-president of RCA Records at Sony Music UK, described PinkPantheress as an inventive and instinctive voice in contemporary pop. She said the artist’s production style combines precision and playfulness, creating sounds that extend beyond the UK and contribute to a broader shift in modern pop music, particularly for female producers.

The ceremony, hosted by Jack Whitehall, will feature performances from artists including Harry Styles, Rosalía and Wolf Alice, and will be broadcast live on ITV and ITVX.
