Reflecting on his role as Saxon Ratliff in the third season of The White Lotus, Schwarzenegger acknowledged frustrations over assumptions that his career benefited solely from his famous family. He explained to The Sunday Times that he has spent over a decade training as an actor, performing in school plays, developing characters, and attending hundreds of auditions.
