Emmerdale actress Isabel Hodgins is set to leave the ITV soap after nearly two decades in the role of Victoria Sugden. Hodgins revealed that she filmed her final scenes in December and admitted she felt more ready than emotional when her time on the show came to an end. She explained that the demands of travelling from Manchester to Leeds for filming had become increasingly tiring during pregnancy, and that taking a break felt necessary ahead of the baby’s arrival.

The actress also reflected positively on the prospect of motherhood, describing it as the most significant role she has yet undertaken. She expressed confidence in her husband as a future parent and said they both feel fortunate as they prepare to welcome their child.
