Kim Kardashian has explained why photographs featuring the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were removed from social media posts celebrating Kris Jenner’s 70th birthday last November. The images initially appeared online but were later taken down, prompting widespread speculation.

Speaking on Khloé Kardashian’s podcast, Kim said the decision was made out of respect rather than controversy. She explained that Meghan Markle and Kris Jenner have maintained a friendly relationship for several years and that permission had been given for the images to be shared at the time.
According to Kim, the situation changed when it was realised that the posts coincided with Remembrance Day in the UK. She said there was concern that images of the couple at a party could be seen as inappropriate on a day dedicated to honouring members of the armed forces who died in service.

Kim added that the images were removed to avoid misunderstanding and to show sensitivity to the occasion. She described the incident as an innocent mistake that was amplified unnecessarily, emphasising that no offence was intended by those involved.
